Photographer

Michiel Robberecht is a film director and photographer known for his distinctive, dreamlike style, yet his work spans both the artistic and commercial worlds. Currently based in Nairobi, he has spent the past years living and working between Brussels and East Africa.

Michiel’s photography work is driven by a deep human interest, with his images featured in publications such as Libération and Nataal Media.
Alongside his artistic practice, Michiel has extensive experience as a director of commercials and branded documentaries, having created work for clients including Skol Brewery Ltd, the Nile Museum Rwanda, and Afriek Textile.
